About Justin

Justin PerichKeeping healthy and fit has always been important to Justin Perich.

FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME

Justin attended Ann Arbor Pioneer, where he played for the golf and tennis teams. While Justin would go on to study Pop Culture at Bowling Green State University, major in digital filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, and work in the music industry in New York City, he has always harbored a special love for the game of golf.

JUSTIN PERICH’S ALL-TIME FAVORITE GOLFERS

  • Fred Couples: Nobody drives a ball like ol’ Boom Boom!
  • Nick Faldo: Once thought of as the number one golfer in the world, he’s still one of the best to ever come out of Britain.
  • Lee Westwood: It’s a crime this guy’s never won a major championship!
  • Ian Poulter: Sure he’s controverial, but the man’s got talent.
  • John Daly: Did you know he’s got a music career as well? Eh, he should probably just stick to golf.
  • Boo Weekly: I met him once, really nice guy!

Beyond playing and following the sport, Justin is also passionate about the equipment and technology. A complete gear junkie, Justin used to re-grip his golf clubs in the kitchen until his dad took a sip of turpentine in a coffee cup by mistake.

Furthermore, he loves athletic clothing. From a very early age, Justin has followed the popular fashions and is something of an expert on the topic. More than anything, Justin is a shoe guy—Converse, New Balance, Adidas, Sperry, Alden, you name it. He has collected one Air Jordan after another, and even still has a pair of 1992 Olympic Air Jordan’s in the original box that have never been worn. (Justin’s also crazy about fashion in general. His favorite brands include JCrew, Levis,Original Penguin, Band Of Outsiders, Lacoste, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Bonobos, and Gitman Bros.)

While Justin spends most of his time pursuing a career in the film and music industries, he makes sure to hit the links as often as he can.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

In addition to exercise, Justin Perich believes in a healthy diet of organic foods. He doesn’t eat any sugar or processed foods, and he stays away from caffeine and alcohol. He’s also very interested in alternative health. From 2007 to 2009, he even worked in the marketing department for Alternative to Meds, a world authority on biochemical correction of addiction and alternatives to psychiatric drugs based in Sedona, Arizona.
